We connect virtually via zoom for most of our classes but on request, we also offer personalized in-person tuition at your home.

HOMESCHOOLING
At Laurel Tuition Center, we believe in creating a wholesome child through the homeschool experience. Throughout the school year, we organize numerous activities which allow our learners to mingle and socialize through games, book clubs, sports, poetry and storytelling sessions. We understand the incredible need to support homeschooling families with resources, guidance and tuition and our tutors are dedicated to this cause. You can enroll for a full homeschooling package or select specific areas/ subjects to be taught to your child. With one on one tuition, learning experiences are deliberately curtailed to be spot on, offering opportunity for daily learning and growth.

OUR STORY
At Laurel Tuition Center we aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of our student. Our focus is on first identifying gaps in knowledge through the initial learner's assessment, then customizing our lessons to address these areas. We realize that the reason why many learners struggle with some subjects is simply because complex topics are introduced prematurely, that is, before they have taken time to understand prior, simper concepts. This eventually sabotages their grasp and confidence to tackle the succeeding topics/ areas which are usually more complex. We are not tamed by the boundaries of class and level groupings but go as far back in content as our learner requires. Through direct, systemic and explicit instruction, we have witnessed our learners overcome hurdles to achieve astounding success, subject confidence an immense love for learning.
